The Challenge
Antonio Sosa was building a fast-growing barbershop and needed an identity as distinctive as his work behind the chair. The goal was a mark that felt personal, memorable, and ownable, something that could anchor a brand with real ambition rather than simply label a small shop.
The Strategy
The concept arrived in an unusual way. I literally dreamed the logo, then brought the idea to Antonio. It was built right into his name: the “T” in “Tone” became a set of T-trimmers, a type of clipper every barber knows, and “Sosa’s” was set in a modified typeface positioned as the trimmer’s cord. I chose a bold red as the signature color, attention-grabbing by design and fitting for haircuts meant to turn heads. The mark told you exactly what the business was, and it did so with personality.

The Design
As Antonio’s business grew, I grew the brand with it. When he launched a strand serum, I extended the identity to the product, preserving the original mark and pairing it with clear, bold product typography so the new line read as a natural part of the brand. As the business matured into T.S. Pro Grooming, a premium, advanced barbershop offering everything from shaves and facials to skincare and hydrotherapy, I evolved the identity to match, carrying the original roots forward into a more elevated, full-service grooming brand built on Antonio’s own initials.
The Outcome
The original brand helped fuel real growth. Tone Sosa’s Cuts expanded to the point that there were barely enough hours in the day for his clients. Years later, that identity lives on in T.S. Pro Grooming, a lasting example of brand work that did not just launch a business but grew with it for the better part of a decade.
